Hudson County prosecutors are searching for a man wanted in connection with a deadly shooting in Jersey City early Sunday morning.
Authorities say 36-year-old Raheem Rhett, of Jersey City, is wanted on charges, including murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault and multiple weapons offenses stemming from the shooting.
Police were called to Orient Avenue near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive around 2:30 a.m. Sunday for reports of gunfire. Officers found 38-year-old Jenardo Tejada, of Jersey City, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
He was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where he later died. Investigators also found a second victim, a 45-year-old Jersey City man, on Jackson Square with an apparent gunshot wound.
