Man struck, killed by train in Harrington Park
A man was struck and killed by a CSX train Sunday in Harrington Park.
CSX says the incident happened around 2:37 p.m. on Harriot Avenue and Shore Road. They say Bergen County responded and reported that the person was fatally injured.
CSX said in a statement, “This is an unfortunate reminder of the dangers of trespassing on railroad property.”
They say the incident remains under investigation. It wasn’t clear if the man was hit by the train by accident.
