A Queens man connected to the murder of an NYPD detective from Calverton will spend three decades in prison.
Jagger Freeman was found guilty of murder, robbery and assault for being on lookout while his partner in crime robbed a T-Mobile in Queens.
The attempted robbery led to the fatal shooting of Det. Brian Simonsen.
Freeman, 28, rejected an earlier plea deal offer for 12 years in prison.
His accomplice, Christopher Ransom, is currently serving 33 years in prison.
