A man was shot and killed early this morning in Poughkeepsie.
Police say the department got a 911 call around 1:45 a.m. about a shooting on Mansion Street not far from College Hill Park.
When they arrived, officers found a 28-year-old from Poughkeepsie in the street next to his car. He was taken to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital where he died.
Detectives aren't releasing his name yet because his family hasn't been told.
Another gunshot victim, a 44-year-old, walked into the police department soon after the shooting.
Police report the man wouldn't say a lot about his shooting, so it isn't clear if the two shootings are related.
