Man arrested in connection to deadly hit-and-run in East Williamsburg

According to the NYPD, 35-year-old Gregory Ventura was arrested and is now facing several charges, including criminally negligent homicide and leaving the scene of an accident.

Police say a man linked to a deadly hit-and-run in East Williamsburg has been arrested.

According to the NYPD, 35-year-old Gregory Ventura was arrested and is now facing several charges, including criminally negligent homicide and leaving the scene of an accident.

31-year-old Joshua Germain was walking along Vandervoort Avenue and Maspeth Avenue back on Feb. 15 around 12:15 a.m. Police say that's when Ventura struck Germain with a car and took off from the scene.

No word yet on when Ventura will appear in court.
