A Trenton man was arrested Friday in connection with the assault and robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Hamilton, according to police.

Officers were called to the 100‑block of Samuel Street around 7 p.m. on Feb. 13 for a report of a robbery involving a delivery driver.

Police say the victim was approached by a suspect, later identified as Cristian Bransosa of Trenton, and struck multiple times with a blunt object. They say the victim was knocked to the ground, and the suspect allegedly stole about $260 in cash.

Officers searched the area based on witness descriptions. Police say they located Bransosa walking nearby and arrested him after a brief foot pursuit.

Bransosa was charged with robbery, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possession of drug paraphernalia.
