A malnourished pit bull was found Friday afternoon in Newark.
Newark police say the department received a call around 1 p.m. for reports of a malnourished dog. They found the pit bull at Mapes Terrace near Schuyler Avenue.
Anyone with information about the animal is urged to contact the Newark Police Department.
