You like doing push ups? No, we'll let Lauren do them. It's time for main street, New Jersey. We highlight some brave local park. She's still at the gym doing 72 other shows. 74 75. That's awesome. I'm just at the beach. Look at him. He is like for the crossfit. Have you got a drink going on here? We have this morning. I mean, what a good vibe you guys got going on here. Yeah. Yeah. So little by little, you know, we're getting bigger every year and we've been here about four years. So, uh, that's where we're at and you have a huge, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, we have a great community and you were saying I was doing my push ups and that's why you need a coach someone. Yeah. I mean, one of the biggest things is, is that, you know, people when they get into fitness, they might not know what to do. They go to a health club and no one shows them what to do and no one gives them a workout to do here. We do all that for you. Ok? And all you have to do is just play alone. And so what are they doing this morning? So, we have a dead lift workout. We have people doing hands, sand, push ups, we then have pull ups and rowing. We have, they're riding the bike too as well. So again, they get a little taste of everything. You know, it's all skill levels too. Right? Like beginners, obviously, like, absolutely. It doesn't matter what your skill level is. All right. You can be someone who's been doing fitness for a really long time or just getting started. Ok? And we accommodate everybody. Ok. And I want to show everyone at home the handstand push ups. I don't believe it. And you could do it. I've never seen, I've never heard anything like that. What is, it's like a skill that you just learned, you have to work really hard to be able to make it look that show us how it is. All right. Let's go. Let's go. This is for me. Right? 5:48 a.m. And that's to start your day. I don't know what it is. I don't know what it is. So how do people find you if they want to watch at home and they want to come? Yeah. All right, folks. Here we go. Friday morning, time for main street, New Jersey when we highlight some great local businesses. And this morning our Lauren De is in Roselle Park, worked out all morning long. So you deserve whatever that is that you're eating. What is that? Lauren coming to New Jersey today? The restaurant is open. I promise you've taken a smaller bite. This is an, we got the whole family here this morning. We have Danny, we have Ari's dad. We have a council member here from the Fifth Ward. We're actually just coming by to pick up your sandwich though. Right? That's it. That's it. That's it. I've been starting off this morning with a nice Taylor ham, egg and cheese. Taylor ham, egg and cheese up here at Jordan Danny. I mean, this is amazing. You've only been here for a year. Yes, we're gonna make a year. October October 10th. We're gonna make a year and you got a great spot too. You got right across the street from you. And so what's it like working with your dad? And, and so a whole, it's a whole experience. It's, you know, it's, it's a bonding. Actually, it's a family business. It's, it, we just bonding. We're bonding, which is great, you know, which is great. OK. I can, I stop reading. This is a sloppy Joe. One of our famous uh sandwiches in here is Joe's. It's, I mean, it's well known here as well as the turkey sandwiches and the, don't forget the are big hit in here or orange juice, fresh orange juice, fresh orange juice. You guys, I'm like, this is great. I'm in heaven right now actually. Thank you. Thank you. Um What time do you open? What time do you close? We uh school, our school hours, we open at seven in the morning to three o'clock and summer time. We, we open at 7 to 2. Um You also have a good um Yes, we do, we do. We do have sandwich as well and that's another hit. Yes. So what's next for you guys? And by the way, the dad. All right, you're on vacation. You came back from vacation to set before you. So what's next for you guys? Uh expanding we just wanna spend and we want a little bit more and hopefully found the future down the line. I say one thing, my dilemma is I don't cry. I'm glad for what I have and I'm gonna keep going with my dreams with the help of everybody that helped me around. Why not? I could make it? I got my dad, I got my kids. All right, folks. Time for main street, New Jersey. It's Friday. We highlight some great local businesses and this morning, our Lauren de is in Roselle Park right now. She's taking us inside of a restaurant and banquet hall with more food right in front of you, Lauren. I know it is absolutely down pouring and this is, this is amazing. Kevin over here is gonna bring the drinks. Look at this. I mean, if this is not a great way to start your Friday, I don't know what it is. Thank you, Kevin Kevin, you're the owner of Los Altos and we have John, the uh general manager here. So what, what did you make for us? Can we start with the drinks first John John semester? And he'll go through. So here we have our uh Black Margarita, which is one of our uh staples made with a uh infused agave. We have the misdemeanor over here, which is uh with the scout and cucumber and then we have a wide array of dishes. Um our, for an appetizer, we have our as well. We have the creamy pasta over there with sauteed shrimp and our braised short ribs with mashed. I mean, I'm gonna get up because I wanna walk around because this restaurant is gorgeous and if it was a nice day, we could be sitting in the, in the Yeah, we were hoping to sit in the garden. Yeah, I mean, this all looks, this is really great. This is amazing. Thank you. I can't imagine what a bake but all looks like just the restaurant portion of it. So we take everyone to the bar and show everyone what, what the restaurant looks, I mean like. So this is our dining room. This is um so we obviously have the garden seating outside. I love the chairs too. Thank you. So these are actually from Mexico. Um They're hand made um all distressed leather. So they, they're actually be able to use outside too, so they're weather resistant. These are really nice and this is really nice too high top chairs and tables. Our famous bar. This is beautiful. Yeah, so we have a whole arraign of uh tequila and Mezcal. Um So we're building um kind of our own little tequila bar here and, and hopefully we get flights going soon. Um This is the tequila bar really? You know who likes that? Lord, I do you guys, we're coming here after work. This is great. I love it here. We love our tequila. We do $5 margaritas on Thursday. So it's a big hit. Um And we do specials during the week, Wednesdays, we have 50 50% off bottle of wine and cigar nights on the patio. So, that's also a big hit Friday live music. Like, how long have you been open? So, we opened up last year in June. June ish. Yeah. Right. Yeah. Right over right after. Um, so it's pretty, yeah, it's very new. Right. All right, Friday means it's time for main street, New Jersey when we highlight some great local businesses. And this morning our Lauren de in Roselle Park. Lauren, she already worked out. She had some food to eat. Yeah. Why don't we do some shopping? Lauren? I mean, why don't we, we have to do some shopping. We're on Chestnut Street right in the middle of Roselle Park and we have Jennifer, the owner here. You just moved into Jess Jubilant, this location, correct? A month ago, a month ago. Yes. But you've been around John for about two years now for almost two years. Yes, we've been in town. So we're your local greeting card store and more we like to say some have compared us to if Spencer's and Hallmark had a baby. Um but um we're local, we live here in town and we wanted to bring something to our community that we haven't had here in a while. So I've been in the industry for over 13 years and decided, you know what? It's time to open my own greeting card and gift store in my own backyard and share all this with us because I would never think to put any of this stuff together in one store. Yes. So it is a collaboration of all the things that we love. Um So we carry gifts for everybody. We've got great gifts for men, believe it or not, our best selling item in our store is our men's squatch. So it's all, it's all natural men love it and they keep on asking us to expand our lines. So we do. Um, but we've also got a few, um, party goods that we carry. We've got gifts for kids and we've got stationary and journals, all that good stuff. But one of our things that we're most proud of that we carry here in our store is our greeting cards. We've got a lot of great greeting cards. They're not your everyday greeting cards that you find at a lot of stores. A lot of our greeting cards are from smaller independent women own or minority owned business. This is so, um, it's always nice to have people come in and take a look at the cards and hear the chuckles and find out which one that they're connecting with and which ones they're gonna end up, uh, buying. And it was the first thing we did too. Exactly. People are drawn. It's a lot of bright colors and there's a lot of great cars. I'm gonna pick the feel better ones. This one, some of them are appropriate though. We're gonna have this one though, feel better. So I used up a lot of time. Gabby, the producer was rapping me like 10 minutes ago to back to you. Listen, when you say the boss in Roselle Park, they all know it's you, you started this place a long time ago. Yes, a long time ago. And that created a beautiful place. I think so. I think so too. And I think your old neighborhood agrees too. Yes. And you came from Italy and started this all up. Yeah, that's impressive. And Joe, this is your son here. And Joe, what food did you um did your mom make for us today? My mom cooks everything here and everything's fresh and homemade. So we're gonna start here with our famous pepperoni bread. Gilda is so good. It is incredible as spinoff is our pepperoni pin wheel so people can grab and go in the mornings for our subs. Our most popular sub is the big Al Italian sub. It's an award winning sub. My mom actually was, is a winner statewide, best, best sandwich joint in New Jersey by the voters of the Jersey sandwich joint. Facebook page 200 votes for my mom. That's impressive. Meatball sub. My mom rolls each and every one of these meatballs. She makes her own homemade sausage. Like you're not going to buy this in the store. This is homemade. I mean, she literally butchers grinds and then cranks it out. Uh One of our top sellers is our breakfast morning menu. Our Jersey breakfast at this menu. Exit 37 137 exit 137 Jersey breakfast. Make a pit stop in Rosa Park. Give us the Taylor Ham, egg and cheese right here, folks the best Taylor and it is tailor ham because you got more votes for Gillham. They did a contest and look at that 17 votes for pork roll star Taylor Ham. Is that seven or is that one? 17? There you go guys. Oh, and then you're pet friendly too this time. So we offer coffee in the morning, but we also offer something for our little pup friends. I love the puno for all of our dog friends. Stop by, get a treat and get a pupp. How fun is this place? What is going on? At least it looks like it stopped raining, thankfully stopped raining. We are right in the middle of Roselle Park. We're in the neighborhood. We got the great family here. We're at a deli and Scott. Can you do a 3 60? Because I want to show one. We are literally in the middle of the neighborhood here. Thank you. What a great space you have here. And these steps, I mean, we, we were taking pictures just walking up here. It's good. Thank you. Thank you. Yes. Yes. She's very proud of her delegate. 45 years mom, right? 45. I created something beautiful. I think so. I think so too. I think a lot of people should be. Thank you for doing that. That's really impressive, especially as a woman that did that 45 years ago. Yeah. 1979. You didn't hear about that. No, you did not coming from Italy and learning the language. I mean, she did an incredible job. We love my mom and people are asking where in Italy are you from? Where, where are you from? Should we go inside to everyone? Give everyone a tour, hurt your back. We're gonna go in there and give everyone a and she does all the cooking right? That five in the morning she's doing cooking. There you go. Oh, yes, Michelle will show off your telly. Ok. But everyone's calling and they're asking, can we buy the sausage by the pound? You can, right? All right. Hurry up. Ok. This year we were the number one sandwich joint in New Jersey by the voters of Jersey sandwich joints. And we, my moms are so incredibly proud. Ok. Ok. All right, Boss Gilda. Show us. What do you got for us? Hi, this is my. Oh OK. Here we go. All the food that you make on the show. Fun Counter. The sausage, potato salad, macaroni and salad. We have old deli meats. Everything is homemade. All the sounds are homemade. My mom does it every single morning at 5 a.m. sausage. You so you can't get this. She literally butchers it, grinds it by hand and cranks it out by hand. And if you don't, you could come and you could get, you know your sandwich. But can we show everyone the at the back? We just got the wrap queue because you also do banquets and family parties. Come on, mom. Um So this part of the, the deli is DeMartino banquet Hall and we built it 22 years ago. It's for private parties and it's just a wonderful place. It's named after my mom's family. Uh, as you can see, this is my mom, Marshall. What you do? I, this is really nice. Thank you. Thank you. So, what do you, what kind of, what, what do you want here? You want people to just come and enjoy and be family, the family. Yes, our family. And then what kind of parties do you have here? Then we got the, the school, the Christmas. Probably somebody over here you want and it's intimate. So you have the place to yourself. Yeah, really nice. And the food is even better too.
