For this Friday's main street, New Jersey. We are in total news, 12 New Jersey's law and do is telling the stories of local businesses there starting with an early morning trip to the gym. Of course, you can always count on the gym to be open. We have Jack from Gold's Gym here. Good morning. Good morning morning. Thank you. Thanks for having us early this morning. And you're saying this is not a lot of people, but I think this is a lot of people at 516 in the morning, it's a lot of people but for us because it is uh storming and things like that, it's a little bit slower, but we're open. People are here. They're getting their healthy lifestyle first thing in the morning at the greatest Gold's Gym in North America and in total in New Jersey. So come on in, let's let's go see what you have going on here. I mean, you have a lot, this can be intimidating. How do you make it not so intimidating? Because you say a lot of people come back for how many years people come back for? We've been open now for 27 years. We are Gold's Gym. We are the Mecca of the gyms, but we are family. We're very, very community. Everybody in here is connected and related and, you know, neighbors and it just makes it such a great environment. We have everything you could possibly need for any of your workouts. So we have all ages. It's, it's an awesome place. So it, it keeps people very busy. Even your daughter's here. She doesn't want to be on TV. We won't find her. She's here. We got everybody here this morning. They're all doing their workouts. They're all getting ready for their day. They, you know, this is our morning crowd. They come, they get their work out on, they get healthy, they go to the locker rooms, clean up and then they go to work and then we have the next group of people coming in. So it is, it, it's an awesome place. We have class is you name it, we have it and you love Totowa. We were talking earlier. This is the best town. This is where to be. If you ever want to come to come home, you come to Totowa. It is just the most amazing community, greatest leadership, greatest police, greatest support system and just the greatest people on this planet. Thank you. We do have the mayor here and I know the mayor's ID up some weights over here. So mayor, how much can you bet? I don't know about that. I mean, you support Jeff all the local business here. We have a great list of places that we're going to. We're going to see a couple of nice places today, a few places. But yeah, we really like our community business owners like Jeff, get back to the community and so do the rest that we'll see. So it really is a nice neighborhood real quick. You want to give a shout out to your wall because you're really proud of your wall. Yes, this right over here. That's our hero's wall. We support and love all of our heroes from all of our police fire, military, EMT and our military. I'm a retired marine and we just love our heroes. So everybody, thank you so much. Thank you and thank you for doing this. This is awesome. And uh wait for 2024 we just contracted for an amazing amount of great upgrades and changes in this club starting this Sunday. We go to 5 p.m. extending the hours cringing and pickle ball soon. So all kinds of amazing things we look forward to having you about. We could absolutely what a great start to the morning guys. For this Friday's main street, New Jersey. We are in Totowa, New 12, New Jersey's Lauren do is covering local businesses there this morning. From a gym to a bakery, coffee is poured. We have Mary and her daughter Magic. Of course, very beautiful. The Dead Pan Bakery and you have some trees laid out for this morning. Yes. These are Minneapolis turnovers and these are many gu you have your cheese cups with pineapple cherry. Um A little of the fruit tart and the chocolate mousse cheesecake. Yummy. Ok. So what type of bakery is this? Because I look around and you literally have anything you can dream of. It's multicultural. You have your Spanish flan. Um the delicious froggy forest cake over there that he came up with and he's getting ready for Valentine's with the swan. Yes. Yeah, I know. Well, you know, you gotta catch up with times. Um our regular cakes with the butter cream, chocolate mousse, your old fashioned maple walnut, your pastries, cannoli cake, Italian rum. So we have a little of a variety of everything. There's not one specific the Macaroons and then what are those in the back? I cannot pronounce it but you can pronounce it. I can't. These are the baklava and these are the Spua Des, they're very famous around here. People love them Italian pastry and then the donuts over here. I love that. You only as a mom. I totally appreciate this. The sprinkles, sprinkles. Jimmy's could be Jimmy's depending where you're at in what part of the town or state of New Jersey. So Jimmy's are sprinkles but we have them. You have it all and you know what may, where the mayor is? Coffee too. We were joking. I mean, this bakery is as old as you. So it's just about 20 years old, right? A little bit older than that. But it's been here a very long time. It's a staple of art community. Yeah, a little bit longer than 20 years. A lot, a lot longer. That's ok. I'll tell you about. All right. Well, let's, let's dig in. What do you say? What's your favorite thing that, that your mom makes you have? We're, we're gonna eat that one, right? I want this one too though. Ok, Mary. You want one? For this Friday's main street, New Jersey. We are in Totowa News. 12, New Jersey's Lauren do is telling the stories of local businesses and right now Lauren, it's time for breakfast. How good you are just smiling already. We are ready. We're smiling. We're ready for this, right? Cydia. And this is where neighbors become friends and friends become family. And Cydia, you have a lot of, you have a lot of stories. You grew up around here. You're telling about your daughter, your son in law. We have to talk about the World Trade Center. We got a lot to cover. Yeah. So I've been here. It's almost 11 years and it's kind of like being home because I grew up in the next town over and we're regional high school. So I knew a lot of people and these were my running grounds as a kid. You know, we hung out mostly in total but Little Falls West Patterson. It was a whole, you know, circuit that we did. But uh I was working, putting modular kitchens on construction sites since 19 nineties and uh finished up at the World Trade Center site for the rebuild there And, uh, my good friend Joe Wool Hadad was here on vacation from Ireland and he was just a hobby photographer. And he happened to be downtown during 911. And the first, uh, two pictures in the first row and the top one in the third row got published. And he was brought here by the owner of the trade center site to document the building process. So it was a nice run there. It was really cool being a part of history and, um, here I found my home. So like it's no more construction sites be there for 10 minutes and then like, find a new living. So it's nice and cozy. We have customers already. Yeah. So I got my locals, you know, it's a little like sleepy town in the winter. Everybody gets up a little bit later but they all make their way in and I'm really happy to be part. Yeah. No, we don't open till seven. But, you know, we let the stragglers in sometimes if we're here, everybody's welcome. So, what do you make this morning for? Everyone? We got the bear here too, by the way. So Tommy, Tommy likes to eat healthy. So he's gonna enjoy our avocado toast. And Larry likes to live life a little on the spicier side. So he's gonna go down with those shrimp and grits and our mayor. Well, he's just the best. He's salty and sweet all in one. So we went for our combo plate with our Italian French bread, toast and Taylor Ham. Of course, the Jersey favorite. And it's Taylor ham. Of course it is. And we have nice over eggs. Easy eggs. Ok. So how do I do this with the espresso? I am Italian but just everyone at home. What do I do with this? Take it, squeeze it in and rub it around the rim of your cup. There we go, guys. I'm drinking some Italian espresso this morning. Complete with the lemon. Yep. I do feel it. Here we go. Good morning everyone. We are in Towa like I need any more espresso. LA. For this Friday's main street, New Jersey. We are in to our Lauren do has been highlighting local businesses. We've been to a bakery. Uh We've had some breakfast gym, Lauren. What's next? This is a different spot. We're gonna go to the action, physical therapy and sports rehabilitation. We have plenty of years. Tell me about this place. All right. So we're an outpatient uh physical therapy provider. We've been in town for 24 years now. Uh serving in this great community in to, uh as for insurances, we pretty much take everything uh on an in network basis. So, uh you can just come on right in. You don't need a prescription or anything like that. Uh, but we do work with a lot of area physicians. Uh We do pretty much orthopedic hands on care. So we're gonna do your neck pain, your back pain, your sports injuries. Uh We get from, you know, the kids going up through high school, college and professional athletes. We do a lot of geriatric care in the community. So we get a lot of total hip and total knee replacements. Uh We have great hours early morning, late night Saturdays, uh great parking and our hand to cap facilities handing accessible facilities that makes it easy for everybody. Yeah, it was really easy to get here and Frank, you're gonna take us inside because we have some of those patients here already this morning. Yes. Come on in. So like Glenn said, it's our 24th year here in uh in Totowa. Uh fantastic community here. I grew up right down the road. So um this is uh special to me. And uh you know, we uh we have a nice following here and uh in this town it's uh it's been a great experience. So, um you know, basically, we uh we've been here for 24 years and uh we get people coming back in and say, hey, you know, you took care of my mom or my dad or my grandparents and, and basically, uh you know, it's nice that they entrust us with, with their care. So, um you know, um we uh we try to provide the best care here possible. And uh it's been a great experience being part of this total community and this town uh being part of the fabric here has been a great experience and we're the fire chief here too, right? Fire chief is here. He's working out good. How are you today? You doing? Wonderful, wonderful. What are you working on this morning? Working on my shoulder, getting my shoulder back in shape there? Well, we need you, we need that shoulder in shape. So, there you go. We do our best. We're in Totowa this morning. Look at everyone here this morning. Let's give everyone a wave. For this Friday's main street, New Jersey. We are in Totowa News 12, New Jersey's Lauren de is sharing the stories of local businesses there from a gym to a bakery, physical therapy. What do we got now? Lauren? Well, this one is so different. I said that the last time we're at the American Legion right now. This is Post 227. Right. There we go. Look at everyone here this morning. We gotta thank everyone for their service first and foremost. So thank you very much for everything that everyone uh does and do for the country. I really appreciate it. Thank you. Thank you. So, what's going on here this morning? Well, we have 12, channel 12 here. It literally is on TV, too, by the way. So we're bringing it right to you every morning you watch. Thank you for being here. So, so what do you do for the community? You do so much? We're active with the, with the town, we a library with the uh police department, the fire department, donations to uh uh uh tunnels to towers, uh Boys state, girls State. What else to you could go on and on things that you don't think of now because, you know, but we donate to people that are ill. You do so much and you did so much. Why is it great to have a, an environment like this, a community that you can just essentially hang out all day? Well, we don't hang out all day. We have other things to do. But, but, but we like to hang out all day. Uh, we just, uh, you know, we just do cleaning and, you know, uh you said everyone has a job to do. Everybody has a job to do. Everybody has a job. Tony takes care to registers. Mike is back there right there. He cooks. There's our commander over there. Hey, Commander George is our handyman. He's one of our handymen. Mike does a lot of running around rip right there. Rob is a, a member of the ladies auxiliary. She helps out. So everybody, everybody chips in. That's about it. That's about it. That's it. There you go. And are you accepting new members? Always, always, uh, we like to get as many as we can. But uh, all you gotta do is audible discharge your DD 2, 14 and $38. And you can come hang out with these guys. They do more than just hanging out, but we're hanging out with you this morning. Thank you. We're in Towa this morning, Laura, dude east out of New Jersey.

Is Friday and for main street, New Jersey today we are in Totowa. Yeah, our Lauren do has been highlighting local businesses there all morning long. And Lauren, what do you have for us this morning? Should we say? Ok, wait, first of all, can we just clear it up? What was I drinking? She was drinking water, water. Everybody can say water, water, water. And then she had a beer. I'm only kidding. I'm only kidding. Ok. So tell me about this, please. Ok. The bar started in 1965 with my dad, Anthony Murphy. Um, when he started the business, he had a lot of good people help him like this gentleman. To my right Ed Benedict. Uh he was a war hero, Vietnam, purple heart police officer. And then he's been in this bar ever since he opens up the bar every day for us. He's retired and I consider one of my best friends and one of the loyal people that served his country. And he's one of the guys that we like in our bar. He represents America in our bar. There's a gentleman like Johnny Warri over here. He started, well, we all started drinking at 18. We did. Right. 18 years. Right. And then one of my best friends is Brian Burns. Over there in the corner was a Patterson fireman, retired Danny Sagan attorney, my nephew, and of course, the mayor is my best friend since kindergarten. I'm five years old. I copied school off him all my life. And that's why I'm in, and that's why I'm in the bar business and Tony Tony artist, Tony Zarek, Ernie Papazian Ranger, Rick Freddie's down there all regulars in the bar. We're fortunate that the mayor lets us open up at seven in the morning. So this is normal for us to be drinking this time during the day. But it's just a great sense of community that, that you get out here. It's a blue collar community. Everybody works together, all the charity organizations work together and we're very fortunate to have John Cora as our mayor. I share a few words, Mr Mayor. Yeah, this is actually uh sometimes a community spot, believe it or not. So many of the townspeople come here, enjoy ourselves, social atmosphere and everybody gets along. Works well together. Very fun. What do you say? We uh everyone got very quiet now. We're trying to be a little serious play all day long. So thank you so much for having us in here at M Tavern. What do we have for our last stop here, Lauren, the last stop is the salon and look at everyone I have with me this morning. The youngest members here too. We do, Cindy. Your mom is the owner here. This is Sue Laurie, Judy Leanna, my mother, Pat my daughter and my two favorites and this morning they look great. And Tony mommy then we got Tony here. Tony. Tony. You were outnumbered. How do you feel about it? I love it. This place. I went on the boulevard 45 years in my own barbershop. And uh I tried to semi retire but wonderful people invited me to come in and hang out and have some fun. I thought I was gonna right over there with us. I do need to get, don't know if anyone saw maybe they're paying attention. I do. Ok, we'll get it for you. So what services do you offer here? Full service. We have been here for 40 years. Uh hair color nails. How you show up and say I want hair like you. You can, you can. Yes. Yes. And you're going to get to this morning. Yes. Our clients want to say we have a bubble. We do. You can have a B Yeah. OK. So our clients, clients range from three babies all the way up. Our, our customers, they bring, they come, they bring their Children, they bring their parents, their husbands. It's all generations. Yes. Yes. That's so, that's so important that first haircut though because if they're screaming and crying, we have a lot of cup. We got to get the mayor in mayor. Thank you so much. It's our pleasure.
