Two years after the loss of Sgt. First Class Nam Cho, a 19-year veteran of the New Jersey State Police who passed away in 2024, troopers gathered to celebrate a major milestone for his son, Luke Cho.

Luke recently graduated from West Point. Several members of the New Jersey State Police attended the ceremony.

Many were close friends of Luke Cho's father and wanted to show their support, knowing how proud Nam would have been to see his son achieve this goal. Luke will now begin his military career with the 10th Mountain Division Infantry at Fort Drum, New York.

As he starts this new chapter, he does so with the support of a community that continues to stand behind him and honor his father’s legacy.
