Preparing for winter: DPW crews in North Jersey gearing up salt trucks for snow, rain

On Wednesday morning, 18 salt trucks will be out. If plowing is needed, 40 trucks will cover 26 miles of road in Mahwah.

News 12 New Jersey's Lauren Due took a trip to Mahwah to visit crews with the Department of Public Works as they prep for the snow and rain.
Glenn Dowson, director of public works for Mahwah, says it could be snowing in one part of town and rain on the other side, but his crew is prepping for all of it.
