Macy’s is moving forward with the closure of two stores in New Jersey, eliminating up to 89 jobs
The retail giant is closing the store at Livingston Mall in Livingston on April 30 and Interstate Shopping Center store in Ramsey on March 3.
A public filing with the state Department of Labor listed the number of workers affected Macy’s is also relocating their furniture and mattress gallery from Rt. 4 to Paramus Park.
Around 14 stores are scheduled to close during the first quarter of the year as part of the company's turnaround strategy.
