The American Dream megamall in East Rutherford held a job fair on Tuesday for prospective employees.
Over 30 stores and restaurants were looking to hire for the holidays and permanent positions. Jobs were anywhere from retail to corporate positions.
As many people struggle to find work, New Jersey residents like Brandon Montoya, of Hawthorne, say that they are grateful for the opportunity to show their skills in person.
"There's a lot of people that are looking for jobs right now that can't really find one. So, if they come to the job fair, they have multiple options. They can give their resume to multiple people. And, it's a system that works. Some people don't have computers. They don't have internet. They can't go online to apply,” he says.
Montoya finds out on Wednesday if he got a job.
