Two stores in a Linden shopping center were evacuated Friday afternoon when strong winds caused the roof to partially collapse.
The incident happened around 12:30 p.m. at Aviation Plaza located at 801 W. Edgar Road.
Linden police say that four stores were impacted by the collapse, but only two had to be evacuated – Marshalls and a dollar store. Those two stores will remain closed pending repairs.
No injuries were reported, according to the police.
