Lighting struck the same place twice Saturday, sending two men to the hospital.
Spectators at Irvington Park say they got the shock of their lives.
Witness Franco Villacias described the sound as a 100 gunshots at the same time. He said he saw lightning clear the soccer field after touching down on the ground. He then saw another flash and two men were hit.
One of the men had to be revived at the scene. Both were rushed to Beth Israel Medical Center.
Storm experts say lightning kills about two people in New Jersey a year. A boy was badly burned by lightning in Cherry Hill recently. Last year two Bergen County teens lost their lives after being struck.
Police identified the two Irvington lightning victims as Luis Bravo, 44, and Oscar Villanueva, 50. Both are said to be in stable condition.
