New Jersey is declaring itself the “Pizza Capital of the World,” less than a month after declaring itself the “Bagel Capital of the World.”

New Jersey is declaring itself the “Pizza Capital of the World,” less than a month after declaring itself the “Bagel Capital of the World.”
According to the now famous New Jersey Twitter account, the Garden State is now also the “pizza capital of the world,” reading, “This Sunday in honor of #NationalPizzaDay we will be declaring NEW JERSEY: THE PIZZA CAPITAL OF THE WORLD. Get ready.”
Many reactions surfaced online, including from Gov. Phil Murphy, who retweeted with the response, “Bipartisan support! #NationalPizzaDay.”
The Twitter account also declared the Garden State “Bagel Capital of the World.”
Sunday is National Pizza Day.
