A Leonia man is accused of attempting to murder his Uber driver during a carjacking incident.
Prosecutors allege that Marcus Marson, 25, turned what was supposed to be a routine Uber ride into a terrifying ordeal, stabbing the 37-year-old driver multiple times in the head, arm, and shoulder.
The attack took place around 9:15 a.m. on Monday, leading to Marson's arrest in a backyard in Fort Lee.
The injured Uber driver is currently stable and recovering in the hospital.
