The Lawrenceville Police Department says it has recovered hundreds of SpaceX Starlink Terminals that were purchased using stolen credit card accounts and then shipped to a home in town.
Police say the investigation began in December when they were made aware of a “suspiciously large number of shipments” being made to a home on Roxboro Road. They say that the home was being used as a shipping point and storage area for the items, which were later transported to another area in North Jersey.
Police say they eventually recovered 675 fraudulently purchased SpaceX Starlink Terminals worth about $400,000.
Authorities on Monday charged 35-year-old Kelvin Rodriguez-Moya with second-degree receiving stolen property and second-degree trafficking stolen property.
Anyone who might have additional information about the crimes is asked to contact Lt. Kevin Reading at 609-844-7128, Sgt. Daniel Gladney at 609-844-7107 or Detective Sean Kerins at 609-844-7121.
