Students at Laura Donovan Elementary School in Freehold can return to the classroom after the district confirmed that the mold issue that forced students to relocate has been officially remediated.

The school is set to reopen Jan. 2, marking a welcome return to normalcy for students, teachers and staff.

Students were relocated to Applegate, Errickson, West Freehold and Catena schools since the beginning of the school year.
