With just five days until Christmas, last-minute shoppers are making their way through Freehold Raceway Mall. Some are racing to check off their holiday lists, while others say there’s still plenty of time to get everything done.

“I always wait until the last minute for everything,” said one shopper, reflecting a common trend this time of year.

Other shoppers started early, wanting to finish before the holiday rush

"I started way before Thanksgiving – wanted to get it done as soon as possible,” says Amanda

And while many may find online shopping more convenient, some still prefer to shop in-person.

“I like seeing everything, feeling everything, I also buy a lot more when I am in person,” Amanda said.

Even for those picking up gifts at the last minute, the experience has been relatively stress-free.

“No lines at all, I was in and out, 1, 2, 3,” one shopper said.
