Four kittens were left abandoned in the cold for hours Wednesday morning outside the Humane Society in Plainfield.

A person was caught on camera around 6 a.m. dropping off the litter on the front porch of the building.

Staff at the animal shelter say they rescued four gray and white kittens, placed them in a heating pad and fed them breakfast.

Now the organization is asking for help with identifying the person who is responsible. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Animal Control Department at 908-754-0300 or contact@pahs.org.
