A new children’s play place in East Rutherford's American Dream brings a family vlogging channel’s adventures from the screen to real life for a great Road Trip Close to Home.

Ninja Kidz Action Park opened in August and features 20 attractions including giant slides, ninja obstacle courses, trampolines, and a zipline. The park is based on the YouTube channel Ninja Kidz, known for family-friendly adventures.

The obstacles are designed to encourage exercise while letting kids emulate their favorite online stars, said park owner Paul Nardi.

“We’re a place where kids get to be heroes and they get to participate and do all those things that they might only see on TV and film and they get to actually experience that and do that in real life here,” Nardi said.

Employees say the park will soon add a laser tag obstacle, increasing its total attractions.
