About 19,000 students at Kean University will attend classes virtually on Sunday and Monday because of the weather.
The university says it will then observe a Winter Wellness Day on Tuesday, when classes and activities will not run and employees are not expected to work.
The changes apply to the main campus in Union, as well as Kean Ocean and Kean Skylands.
Kean Ocean is already operating remotely today because of ongoing power issues.
