The storm tomorrow as it brings that strong wind, heavy rain, coastal flooding perhaps as well in certain areas. New South. New Jersey's Jim Murdoch is in Manasquan this morning. It's one of the spots that we will see a lot of flooding tomorrow. Jim already quite breezy out here. Winds are out of the due east and we're standing right next to the glimmer glass bridge, one of the vulnerable areas here in Manasquan, if not the most vulnerable low lying spot in entire Monmouth County and I want to get right to it. We're joined this morning, Dave Kercher, deputy OEM for the borough of Mann Dave. We saw the predicted tide level 6 ft three inches right on the cusp of minor to moderate. What are we preparing for? What are we expecting here in town? We've already started preparing Jim for last night. Our high water rescue vehicles out. You can look at it probably about maybe one to maybe even 3 ft of water like here on road down the road towards the beach there that's going to make any vehicles parked in those low lying areas that are prone to flooding. They're gonna become insurance claims if they don't get them out of there pretty quickly. You know, we have some video from the last time we were here. October 2022 a similar high tide crest. It really looks to be this one high tide cycle tomorrow afternoon. That, yeah, that is correct. And we've already, we've already removed all the stuff from the inlet area, the benches and the things off the beaches and stuff like that because we're, we're a little bit worried about that. We're going to get a persistent east wind. We're gonna, it's gonna pound us pretty good, maybe 40 miles an hour. And that's going to bring in a little bit of a storm surge. Plus the rain. Speaking of the inlet, what about the search efforts for Derek Naby? I guess they're going to have to be suspended. Right. Yes, they, they, they, they will be suspended. I'm sure because of that high surf issue and everything else. Every time the water begins, that's, that's what happened last week. They had to suspend the search and then the boat separated and some things happen where, where things moved all in all. We're used to it down here. But what's the, what's the message for the winter and off season renters off season renters be aware of where you are living. You are living, notify, sorry, not notified but observe the flashing yellow signs if you see the flashing yellow signs on Brio road or any other low lying area, please get out. All right.
