A veteran helped another veteran with assistance from police in Washington Township, Warren County.
Veteran Richard Pixley needed a mobility scooter. A lightly used one was found in the home of another veteran in town. It was an extra, and the veteran was hoping to give it to another veteran who could use one.
Washington Township officers thought of Pixley. The “Jersey Proud” exchange happened this week.
