Jersey Proud: US Coast Guard lands helicopter at school for career day

The U.S. Coast Guard visited Atlantic City High School and landed a helicopter on the lawn for career day.

Many New Jersey high schools host career days. Booths and tables are set up as students filter in. It is usually very traditional.
But if you want your career pitch to resonate, land a helicopter at the school. This is exactly what the United States Coast Guard did at Atlantic City High School.
The demonstration was designed to give students an idea of what life is like in the Coast Guard. The aircrew talked about their jobs and missions. It was a very hands-on demonstration and an eye-opening experience for the students.
