The Toms River Fire Department recently had a ceremony to welcome their new officers and salute one who's been there longer than anybody else.
Robert Clark is still serving as a volunteer at 90 years old.
He was honored for his 60 years of service with the Silverton Volunteer Fire Company.

Clark is a former chief and a former fire commissioner.
Firefighters say they love seeing him around and hearing the old stories.
