Dr. Yitzhak Sharon's impact was also recognized at Stockton's commencement ceremony last month, where he received the university's Presidential Medal of Distinction.
A graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Sharon taught at Northeastern University and Temple University before arriving at Stockton in 1972.
Dr. Sharon leaves behind a legacy that has become a part of Stockton.
