A 7-year-old girl from South Plainfield has started an effort to make cards for children in the hospital.

A 7-year-old girl from South Plainfield has started an effort to make cards for children in the hospital.
Avery Twal saw a video about sick kids in the hospital and wanted to cheer them up, so she started making cards.
Her teacher found out and expanded the effort throughout the school.
