A group of students from Rahway’s Franklin Elementary School are making New Jersey proud.

The fourth and fifth graders visited the Altria Assisted Living Facility for an afternoon of arts and crafts. They were also there to celebrate one resident’s 102nd birthday.

The students are part of Franklin Elementary’s Blue and Gold Club – a community-based program where students are encouraged to volunteer and give back to others.
