There’s an outfit in South Jersey called “Quilts for Valor.” They give out quilts to those who served the nation and are now serving the community.
The latest recipient is Ocean City Police Officer Jeff Doto. He is an Army veteran who served in Iraq. For the last 16 years, he has been keeping his Jersey Shore town safe.
Doto’s family was there to celebrate the honor. The quilts given out symbolize comfort and healing.
The Ocean City Police Department called Doto a “model American.”
