There are many memorials to veterans in Manchester Township, Ocean County.
There is one located outside Town Hall. There’s a park dedicated to the Tuskegee Airmen. Another park is in honor of POWs and those who are MIA. And there is a park for World War II veterans.
None of this would be possible without the commitment of Art Wright.
Wright got a proclamation from the Manchester Township Town Council saluting all that he has done. Wright announced that he is stepping down from the town’s Veterans Committee after 20 years.
Wright, who is an Army vet, has been on point for all those projects. The proclamation singled out his tireless dedication.
