One of New Jersey’s entertainment jewels is set to reopen after undergoing renovation work.
The famed Loew’s Theater in Jersey City will reopen next month.
The exterior has been restored to look the way it looked when it first opened in 1929. The marquee is back up, and crews have been carefully putting up the iconic chandelier in the lobby.

The project has been in the making for three years. They spent around $72 million giving the iconic location a new shine.
The grand reopening will feature two concerts on Nov. 13 and Nov. 14. The idea is to make it a major entertainment hub in Journal Square.
