Jersey Proud: Eagle Scout creates memorial to fallen police K-9s

There are memorials to fallen officers all over New Jersey, but there hasn’t been a memorial for police dogs who have died – until now.
Caitlyn DeLanoy created one in Point Pleasant Beach as part of her Eagle Scout project. Three K-9s have died in the town through the years – Axel, Doc and Loki.
The dogs are now memorialized in granite in front of Town Hall, along with a bronze statue – all thanks to DeLanoy’s work.
