The award is given to officers who display extraordinary courage in the line of duty.
The officers responded to a domestic violence call last spring where Gamba was able to disarm the suspect. His actions during the incident earned him the Detective Joseph Seals Valor Award.
The Cranford Police Department is proud of its officers and their commitment to protecting their community. The officers' actions serve as an example of the bravery and dedication that law enforcement officers exhibit every day.
