Only a few people ever get to fly an Air Force fighter jet.
But 200 students at Morristown’s Villa Walsh Academy had the experience to fly one virtually.
This was all thanks to the effort of Lee Anne Nugent. She is in charge of the Villa Walsh Robotics Team. She thought it would be a great way to get students interested in STEM careers and options in the military.
"We've had students go to West Point and the Naval Academy but not the Air Force Academy, so I wanted to show them these aspects,” she says.
