A 10-year-old boy with cancer has the goal to become an honorary police officer in as many American towns as possible.
DJ Daniel, who is originally from Houston, Texas, came through South Jersey this week to be sworn in as a member of the Pleasantville Police Department.
He also became a member of police departments in Longport, Cape May, Lower Township, Atlantic City, Galloway Township, Middle Township, Avalon, Absecon, Somers Point and Linwood.
DJ has been sworn in by over 500 police departments nationwide.
He’s making his journey around the nation as he battles a rare form of brain and spinal cancer.
