(AP) - A 'Jersey girl' has done it again for the U.S. soccer team.
Carli Lloyd, a native of Delran, N.J., and a Rutgers grad, scored both U.S. goals to lead the women's team to Olympic gold in a 2-1 victory against Japan on Thursday.
Four years ago she had the game-winner in the gold medal match at the Beijing Olympics.
It was the third straight Olympic gold for the American women.
The match drew 80,203 fans to England's Wembley Stadium, breaking the record for a women's soccer game at the Olympics.
