A Jersey City fire engine was involved in a head-on collision with a sport utility vehicle Sunday afternoon.
The accident happened just before 5 p.m. at Kennedy Boulevard and Clairmont Avenue. Authorities say four firefighters were taken to Jersey City Medical Center with minor injuries. Two people inside the SUV also had minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
