3ds agoRoute 1&9 in Elizabeth has been reopened following jackknifed tractor-trailer and fuel spill Thursday morning.
The crash shut down the southbound lanes of the highway for a time. Some of the lanes reopened by the afternoon.
Crews used a sand mixture to clean up and dilute the fuel spill.
No injuries were reported.
