Jackknifed tractor-trailer, fuel spill temporarily shuts down portion of Route 1 & 9
The crash shut down the southbound lanes of the highway in Elizabeth for a time Thursday morning.

The crash shut down the southbound lanes of the highway for a time. Some of the lanes reopened by the afternoon.
Crews used a sand mixture to clean up and dilute the fuel spill.
No injuries were reported.
