A fire in Irvington on Monday night damaged multiple buildings, including a supermarket, and caused the partial collapse of a building.

The fire on Grove Street and Breakenridge Terrace caused extensive damage to apartment buildings and displaced families. There is no word yet on how many families are displaced.

The Red Cross is looking to assist those affected. There is no word yet on how the fire started.

No injuries have been reported.
