Irish breakfast raises green for scholarship fund

The Greater Bridgeport Medical Association served a traditional Irish breakfast Friday morning while honoring health care workers and raising funds for their scholarship program at the Castle in Black Rock.

This year's honorees included Dr. Harry Cronin, Dr. Charles “Jerry” Hemenway and nurses Maureen C. Pelletier and State Rep. Kaitlyn Shake.

The scholarship money raised will be used for high school students pursuing careers in health care.
