A human trafficking and prostitution ring that spanned multiple New Jersey counties has been broken up following a four-month investigation, authorities say.
New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin announced that authorities in Mercer and Monmouth counties discovered prostitution houses operating in both Trenton and Asbury Park.
The suspects are accused of trafficking minors, and holding at least two women captive against their will.
They face sentences of 20 years to life if they are found guilty.
