A plane made an emergency landing at Newark Liberty International Airport just before 6:30 p.m. this evening.
United Express Flight 5124 had taken off from Atlanta at 3:47 p.m. The pilot reported a problem with the landing gear as he approached Newark and was forced to land without it.
The incident briefly shut down the airport, but two runways reopened around 7:15 p.m.
Officials say 71 people were on board and none of them were injured.
