The southbound lanes of the Hutchinson River Parkway will be closed between exits 6 in Pelham and 15 in New Rochelle from Saturday until Sunday morning.

Southbound traffic will be detoured to the Cross County Parkway beginning Saturday morning after midnight until 6 a.m. Sunday.

The highway closing is required as part of the project to demolish and replace the Lincoln Avenue Bridge.

A temporary bridge is in place until the permanent structure is completed.
