Hundreds of people gathered today at Paterson City Hall to protest the death of a Florida teen who was shot by a neighborhood watchman last month.
Trayvon Martin, 17, was walking in a Sanford, Fla. neighborhood on Feb. 26 when he was shot by George Zimmerman.
Martin was unarmed during the confrontation and Zimmerman claims the shooting was in self defense.
Protesters say they are rallying not only for the arrest of Zimmerman, but also against racial discrimination and profiling in America.
Florida officials say the case will go before a grand jury next month.
