Hopatcong police investigate alleged antisemitic incidents in town

Police say the incidents took place on the night of April 28 between 10:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m.

The Hopatcong Police Department is investigating alleged antisemitic incidents at several homes and the town Jewish center.

Police say the incidents took place on the night of April 28 between 10:30 p.m. and 1:30 a.m. They say a person driving a white sedan placed antisemitic pamphlets at several homes on Maxim Drive. Antisemitic stickers were placed on the bulletin board in front of the Hopatcong Jewish Center.

Police are asking anyone who might have information or security video to contact them at 973-398-5000.

Anyone who may have been victimized and needs assistance can call the Office of Victim-Witness Advocacy at 609-292-6766.
