Millions of people are heading home as Thanksgiving holiday travel comes to an end.
Newark Liberty International Airport saw hordes of travelers passing through the gates.
TSA said they expect to screen more than 3 million people on Sunday.
A major snowstorm over the Northeast, and Federal Aviation Administration’s staffing shortages caused problems for some at the airport with delays and cancellations. The FAA said the shortages are forcing a reduction in air traffic.
But despite long lines, no one News 12 spoke with was delayed or had a cancellation.
"There is a decent amount of people, but the lines moved pretty quickly…it was pretty surprising," said traveler Daphne Sakavellas, from the Bronx.
Many travelers say they will plan to arrive at the airport earlier next time to beat the lines.
