Two Holmdel schools were placed on lockdown Tuesday after receiving a threatening phone call.
According to the Holmdel Police, the principal at William R. Satz School received a call from a girl who said she was inside and was going to start killing children.
The school, along with adjoining Holmdel High School, were evacuated as a precaution while police investigated the threat.
The school was soon deemed safe and all students were allowed to return to class. Holmdel police believe the call to be a hoax.
