Labor Day weekend in New Jersey will start off pleasant, but rain showers are expected to develop Sunday night into Monday.
Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Dave Curren says dry weather conditions will continue through the first part of the weekend.
OVERNIGHT: A few clouds, with comfortable conditions. Overnight lows in the 50s and 60s.
SATURDAY: Slight increase in humidity. Daytime highs in the low-80s. Mix of sun and clouds. Overnight lows around 65.
SUNDAY: Day starts off mostly dry, with daytime highs around 85degrees. Isolated rainstorms develop sometime after 8 p.m. Thunderstorms are mostly expected to impact areas along the New Jersey/New York border.
LABOR DAY: On-again, off-again rain showers for most of the day. Daytime highs slightly cooler around 77 degrees. Overnight lows around 70.
